On behalf of a highly regarded client, we are recruiting for an AML Manager. The post holder will play a pivotal role in ensuring AML compliance. The responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership, operational management, and stakeholder engagement.
   
Responsibilities

• Lead the Money Laundering /Terrorist Financing profiling process for supervised firms, ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
• Manage the registration and onboarding ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Address complex regulatory issues with sound managerial analysis and take appropriate actions.
• Engage with third parties to improve compliance.
• Review inspection reports to ensure accuracy and validity of conclusions.
• Chair meetings to address compliance concerns.
• Develop and manage casework and document management systems for effective data recording and storage.
• Maintain records of inspections and evidential exhibits to support audits and legal processes.
• Provide guidance, outreach, and training on AML/CFT/CPF best practices and emerging risks.
• Manage progress reporting and prepare reports for senior management.
• Oversee the maintenance of internal supervisory policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Professional compliance qualifications are required.
• Minimum 8 years of AML/financial crime experience, including 4 years of supervisory/regulatory experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.  

Salary: US$125k – US$145k per annum plus benefits.
