The Agency is recruiting for an Assistant Vice President on behalf of a highly regarded client. The post holder will play a pivotal role in the management and oversight of a portfolio of captive insurance companies. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including financial statement preparation, client communication, regulatory compliance and staff mentorship.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Review and prepare complex financial statements and investment schedules within stringent deadlines. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to address their needs and concerns. Conduct presentations at Board and Shareholder meetings, both locally and internationally, to provide updates and strategic insights.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines set forth by authorities such as the Regulator and Registrar of Companies. Handle all necessary communications and documentation to uphold compliance standards.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with banking, financial, and investment institutions to facilitate smooth operations and transactions. Review insurance and reinsurance policy documentation to assess coverage and mitigate risks.
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to professional staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including effective decision-making and time management skills.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
  • A Minimum of 3 years of experience in captive insurance management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of SunSystems, SILO, and SharePoint is a plus.
Salary: US$100K – US$120K per annum plus benefits.
